- Looking good doesn’t have to cost a fortune with Vice Cosmetics
- FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano is caught in a real-life issue with PNP and DILG.
- Vice Ganda is firm in believing that the series has nothing but good intentions.
- MTRCB, DILG, the PNP, and FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano are set to meet soon to formally discuss the ongoing issue.
The Philippine National Police (PNP) and the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) continue to criticize “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano.”
The PNP believes that the show has misrepresented the good policemen of the Philippines by making them look corrupt in the eyes of its viewers.
PNP Chief Oscar Albayalde has withdrawn all support to the show including the borrowing of equipment and assistance during taping.
DILG, in support to the PNP, and also a commonly mentioned government agency in the show, threatens that they will sue the show unless they change the plot of the story.
More than the producers, surely Coco Martin is also worried about these criticism from the government.
The show has provided many jobs, revived many artists, and inspired a lot of Filipinos.
With everything the show is currently going through, Coco’s friends made sure that they will give their full support; one of them is Vice Ganda. He once made a guest appearance in the show.
Vice Ganda explained that FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano only has good intentions.
“Alam mo madaling madali lang ‘yun kasi unang una marami ang sumusuporta kay Coco at sa Ang Probinsyano.
“Mahal na mahal ng buong Pilipinas.
“Kapit na kapit lahat ng bahay sa Ang Probinsyano kaya ang dami nilang sandalan, andami nilang kakampi diyan.
“Malinis ang intensyon ng Ang Probinsyano kaya matatapos at matatapos ang problemang ‘yan nang madali lang.”
Coco Martin doesn’t want to comment too much on the issue. His only wish is for the show to continue.
On the lighter side, MTRCB announced that they have scheduled a meeting with the PNP, DILG, and the show’s producers to finally end whatever is causing the conflict.
All parties are hoping to come up with a memorandum of agreement.
