Rhian Ramos recently dismissed a network transfer rumor through an interview with GMAnetwork.com last November 3 on the digicon of “Kung Paano Siya Nawala,” a film starring her and JM de Guzman. The network transfer rumor started on the announcement of the said film and after Rhian shared her plans of taking a break from showbiz to pursue her dream of enrolling on an acting class in New York.
“Actually, napansin ko nga na every time I work with an actor from another network I’m asked if I’m going to transfer or if I have plans to transfer.”
“If you, guys, don’t see me on TV, it has nothing to do with any other network.
“It’s just I wanna study and it’s just something I wanna do for myself.”
Rhian assured everyone that she will do more Kapuso shows when she comes back from New York.
“When I come back, I assure you that you will see me on Kapuso shows”
She also clarified that whenever she plans to do a project outside her home network, she always asks for their approval. Because for her, GMA 7 is her home and her family.
“Nagpaalam ako, not just for my leave, pero nagpaalam din ako for this movie.
“Every time I do something I always ask the approval of my station.
“You know, it’s not just business. I can tell that it’s not just business because they support the things that I dream of.
“They want my dreams to come true and I’m very grateful for that.
“Parang they could’ve been more strict with me, puwede naman kung gusto nila.
“Pero sinuportahan nila yung mga gusto ko, so I’m very grateful and I feel lucky to be in my network.”
Rhian also left a message for her fans:
“Gusto kong magpasalamat kasi all of these years you got to watch my different shows–may it be drama, action, fantasy or comedy–sana po nae-enjoy n’yo.
“I also can’t wait to come back and hopefully show you a new side of myself na baka ma-enjoy ninyo more.”
