GMA Network kept its strong nationwide ratings compared with those of rival ABS-CBN based on the latest data from Nielsen TV Audience Measurement (NUTAM) for the month of October 2018.
Airing on Channel 7 on free TV, GMA Network registered an average of 41.1% total day people audience share in the National Urban Television Audience Measurement (NUTAM) for the full month of October, ahead of ABS-CBN’s 37.2%.
The broadcasting network dominated NUTAM’s morning block with a people audience share of 39.9%, beating ABS-CBN’s 32.0%.
GMA Network also led in the afternoon block with 41.7% against its rival’s 37.4%.
GMA Network reigned supreme even in the evening with 41.3% versus 39.3% of ABS-CBN.
Meanwhile, GMA Network reigned supreme across all day parts in the viewer-rich areas of Urban Luzon and Mega Manila, which respectively account for 72% and 59% of all urban viewers in the country.
It maintained a double-digit margin in Urban Luzon with an average total day people audience share of 46.9% versus the competition’s 30.9%; 49.1% in Mega Manila while ABS-CBN scored only 28.1%.
“Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho” led all the shows nationwide followed by the newest Kapuso sitcom “Daddy’s Girl.” Also included in the list of most watched TV programs are “Pepito Manaloto,” “24 Oras,” “Studio 7,” “Onanay,” “Daig Kayo ng Lola Ko,” “Magpakailanman,” “Victor Magtanggol,” “Amazing Earth,” “Inday Will Always Love You,” “24 Oras Weekend,” “Wowowin,” “Pamilya Roces,” “Eat Bulaga,” “Imbestigador” and “Asawa Ko, Karibal Ko.”
