- Kyline Alcantara currently has her dream career over at GMA Network.
- Her first series for the network “Kambal, Karibal” was a huge success.
- Kyline will soon play the lead role in the upcoming series “Inagaw Na Bituin.”
Kyline Alcantara once thought that she was simply transferring from one network to another. Little did she know that that moment will be the game-changer for her showbiz career.
Her first teleserye with the Kapuso network was “Kambal, Karibal.” It was a major hit on GMA, at the same time, it showcased the young actress’ true potential.
Even though tagged as the “la nueva contravida,” the attention she received was at par with what the lead character got.
In her upcoming project, “Inagaw Na Bituin,” the network finally decided that Kyline is best suited for a lead role as well.
“Inagaw Na Bituin” is a musical drama. It will be hitting two birds in one stone knowing that Kyline is both great in music and drama.
Kyline explained her role in the said series, “It’s about the child of a famous showbiz couple na kinidnap noong baby pa siya.
“She is raised by someone else and just like her parents, she’s also very talented kaya may musical component din ang show.
“Aspiring singer ako rito kaya kakanta ako this time.”
Therese Malvar will be Kyline’s rival. They will be also joined by GMA’s veteran stars such as Sunshine Dizon, Gabby Eigenmann, Angelika de la Cruz, Marvin Agustin and Angelu de Leon.
Kyline added, “I really feel so blessed na may kasunod agad ang ‘Kambal Karibal’.
“Pinag-pray ko noon na maging busy ako and the Lord granted it, nangyayari na nga ‘yun ngayon.
“Ibang-iba ang role ko rito from ‘Kambal Karibal’ and I want the viewers to see ‘yung kaibahan ng role ko kasi mabait ako rito.
“Maganda ang values conveyed by the show about family love and how important it is for you to work hard to fulfill your dreams.
“Abangan nyo ang ‘Inagaw na Bituin’ at malapit na po siyang ipalabas.”
Teen actors Renz Valerio and Migo Adecer will also be part of the cast. They are the expected love interests of Kyline Alcantara and Therese Malvar.
