- Regine Velasquez will wait for GMA and ABS-CBN to address her network transfer issue.
- Her contract with GMA ended on September 30.
- There is no news if she will renew her contract with GMA, or sign a new contract with ABS-CBN.
Regine Velasquez’s show on GMA Network “The Clash” just ended as well as her contract with the Kapuso network.
Along with it, the rumors continue to strengthen that she will be transferring networks soon since there is no statement from GMA that she is renewing her contract. Even the GMA Executives won’t say a word.
However, the rumor remains a blur as long as Regine herself won’t release an official statement. The last episode of “The Clash” even suggested a confusion since she uttered the words “see you next year” before ending the show.
This could mean that the GMA singing contest will have a Season 2, but unsure if Asia’s Songbird will still be the host.
The singer attended the ABS-CBN Ball in which she committed to do a charity concert for the Bantay Bata 163 Children’s Village, which is also the beneficiary of the grand ball.
It seems like all the pieces are in place and Regine Velasquez is just waiting for either of the two networks to announce her transfer.
If she’s indeed transferring to BAS-CBN, she is a perfect fit to become a coach in “The Voice of the Philippines.”
