- Marco Gumabao realized he made the right decision last year when he transferred management agencies.
- He was once part of the Star Magic family but moved to Viva Artists Agency.
- Now he has four movies and one TV series under Viva’s watch.
It’s been a year since Marco Gumabao left Star Magic to join the Viva Artists Agency September 2017.
Marco knew that it was a big risk to transfer from one agency to another, but he did it anyway. Fortunately, it looks like he made the right decision.
Marco explained, “Malaking desisyon yun for me kasi, unang-una, I was gonna leave my mother network, mawawala ako sa ABS-CBN.
“And for me, hindi ako sure kung makakakuha pa ako ng projects sa ABS-CBN, pero it was a risk I was gonna take.
“Medyo risk-taker din ako. Mahilig akong sumugal. Hindi ko naman malalaman if gagana yung isang bagay if hindi ko ita-try.”
“May kaba nung una, especially natanggal ako sa isang project because they wanted from Star Magic.
“Naintindihan ko, natanggal ako, and I expected it din naman. Pero happy ako now na na-cast uli ako sa ‘Los Bastardos.'”
“Lost Bastardos” is the young actor’s latest series in ABS-CBN. Aside from the series, he also has four movies this year namely “Abay Babes” which is currently in theaters, the 2018 MMFF entry “Aurora” starring Anne Curtis, “Para sa Brokenhearted,” and Nadine Lustre’s first solo movie “Ulan.”
“Ako talaga, my heart is with ABS. Nandoon ang lahat ng mga boss na napakabait sa akin. I feel at home with them.
“Happy ako na nabigyan ng show sa ABS, sana magtuluy-tuloy,” said Marco.
