Maine Mendoza and Alden Richards make up the love team, AlDub. They currently have separate projects as Alden stars in Victor Magatanggol while Maine is filming for Jack Em Popoy: The Puliscredibles.
A netizen with Twitter handle @PaaNgMaiChard recently slammed Maine’s fans for calling Alden a “user.”
Netizen slams.
The said netizen wrote how the hurtful words would boomerang to Maine’s fans eventually.
“Mga mulat wag nyong tawaging user si Alden. Tandaan nyo may movie at lipstick pa si Meng. Kasi kapag si Meng naman ang dumikit kay Alden, keri nyo bang tawagin sya ng mga BN na user? Babalik din sa inyo yang mga sinasabi nyo eh”
Maine responds.
Mendoza initially apologized and mentioned that no one should be forced to like someone.
“Sorry may nag tag lang sa akin, pero…. movie and lipstick? Support o hindi, nasa sa inyo naman yun, wala naman pong pilitan kung ayaw.”
The netizen was referring to the Metro Manila Film Festival 2018 entry, Jack Em Popoy: The Puliscredibles and Maine’s collaboration with Mac Cosmetics.
