Regal Entertainment already commenced the story conference of the movie “Elise” which will have Enchong Dee and Janine Gutierrez playing the leads.
The movie will be directed by Miko Livelo and Joel Ferrer.
This is the first mainstream movie for Janine because her previous projects are all indie films. The production did not reveal the full cast yet, but there are talks that Janine’s mom Lotlot de Leon is included.
On another story, Janine is still being bashed because of her role in “Victor Magtanggol” as Alden Richards’ leading lady.
Her post on Instagram captioned: “thinking of you at taping” sparked another controversy that the message was for Alden which enraged the AlDub fans.
Janine immediately clarified the issue by explaining that “you” means the “audience.”
“I actually meant you – as in the viewers – are who we think about at taping because your opinions and happiness are everything to us. It’s our goal for you to enjoy VM. I thought it was understood in my caption but I’ll be more specific for you next time,” Janine explained.
Meanwhile, her rumored boyfriend Rayver Cruz is also expected to join the “Victor Magtanggol” cast. But, there’s no solid proof for this yet.
