Pambansang Bae Alden Richards continues taping for Victor Magtanggol and preparing for his concert, Adrenaline Rush. At the start of 2018, a lot of AlDub (Alden and Maine Mendoza) fans clamored for a movie.
Alden now says that this might see fruition in 2019 yet.

During a press conference on August 30, Thursday, Alden shared that he has a lot on his plate and he hoped to make another movie soon.
“Sa ngayon po, wala pa po kasi my hands are quite full po because of the concert and other commitments. Pero next year po… Kausap ko na po ‘yung management, may mga concept na po. Concept pa lang, hindi pa final. Hopefully po, next year makagawa ko ulit.”

Alden considers his long-delayed movie with Maine Mendoza as one movie option that he hopes pushes through in 2019.
“Isa po ‘yun, isang option po ‘yun na sana matuloy din po next year and meron din pong other concepts na medyo out of the box po, medyo dark. Dark projects po.”
Alden and Maine starred in movies such as My Bebe Love: KiligPaMore in 2015, Imagine You and Me in 2016 and Enteng Kabisote 10 and the Abangers during the same year.
Richards revealed that he loved the unusual concept of their movie.
“Andoon po ‘yung ano ko, eh… Like nung ginawa ko ‘yung The Road, hindi ko po makakalimutan ‘yun hanggang ngayon. Sobrang enjoy po ako doing genres like that kasi unexplored po siya, eh. Kumbaga lagi po ako doon sa mabait na side. Doon naman tayo sa medyo edgy, medyo dark.”
