After The Cure
After The Cure, Jennylyn Mercado will take a vacation with her son, Alex Jazz. Her bakasyon grande may not last long as talk is rife that the top Kapuso female star will headline a new series slated to air in 2019.
Rumor also has it that the “new series” will be set in another country.
Jennylyn’s The Cure co-star Tom Rodriguez had already planned what he would do now that the series has folded up.
“Magkukulong ako sa kuwarto ko. That’s vacation for me.”
The Cure
The Cure had a thirteen-week run amid reports of it being axed after six weeks. GMA Network has a six-week policy where if a series doesn’t rate well in its first six weeks, the network will give it another week. If the series shows no improvement, then the show will be dealt with the death blow.
In the Philippines, a show usually only runs for one season or thirteen weeks. The Cure director Mark Reyes had said that he didn’t want it to have a long run. He didn’t want The Cure to run for more than three months.
Alden Richards’ Victor Magtanggol took over the time slot of The Cure which is after 24 Oras.
