- Maine Mendoza and Alden Richards work on separate projects this year.
- Maine says she’s still willing to work with Alden on a project.
- She congratulated Alden for his new TV series.
Maine Mendoza is now part of Coco Martin and Vic Sotto’s 2018 Metro Manila Film Festival entry Jack Em Popoy: The Puliscredibles.
The actress shared that she is excited about the project and looks forward to playing Coco Martin’s leading lady and Vic Sotto’s daughter.
The Dubsmash Queen described her role as, “Aspiring pulis rin tulad ng tatay ko at very caring din.
Vic Sotto added that Maine’s character is some sort of an overprotective daughter.
While Maine is busy on her upcoming film, the other half of AlDub, Alden Richards is equally preoccupied with his new series Victor Magtanggol that started airing July 30.
This is Alden’s first TV series without Maine and it’s been some time that the two onscreen partner had a project together.
When Alden heard that Maine is joining the Jack Em Popoy cast, he went out of his way to personally congratulate his love team partner.
Maine was asked if she is willing to work with Alden in case she gets invited to guest in Victor Magtaggol.
She is, in fact, Alden’s number 1 supporter now, cheering him on in his return to teleseryes. “Congratulations, Alden!” goes Maine’s congratulatory message to Alden.
