Beauty queen-turned-actress Maxine Medina and model-actor Marx Topacio broke up after seven years of being in a relationship. Maxine, however is not closing her doors on the possibility of them getting back in each other’s arms.
Single Again but Staying Focused.
Maxine recently stated that she wanted to focus on her career. She also enjoys what she’s doing.
“Yes, I’m single, pero focus muna ako sa career ko. I love this, eh, I love what I’m doing. Ayun nag-i-enjoy ako.”
Maxine added that she and Marx would talk about getting married, but in a span of one year, a lot has changed. They also wanted space to love themselves away from each other and to appreciate each other more.
“Yeah, napag-usapan namin, pero marami talagang instance na ano, eh…Well, lahat naman kasi… within one year ang daming nagbabago, and siyempre, siguro parang kailangan muna din namin ng space to love ourselves first para ma-appreciate namin yung isa’t isa.”
Breaking up and Getting Back together?
When asked whether there was a third party involved, Maxine dismissed it and only said: “Wala. Wala naman.”
At the moment, Maxine hasn’t close her doors on the possibility of them getting back together. They are still communicating with each other.
“Bakit naman hindi? Pero let’s see. We’re friends naman, okay naman po. May communications pa rin naman. Pero siyempre, sobrang busy ko po ngayon, eh. Siya din sobrang busy niya, sobrang dami niyang ginagawa.”
Dating and Mingling.
She maybe single now, but that doesn’t mean she has blocked herself from loving and engage in dating.
“Siyempre, open pa rin naman ako. Everyone needs love. Sa akin lang kasi, parang I just really need to focus, saka alam ko na yung priorities ko. Tumatanda na tayo lahat, so alam naman natin kung saan tayo… kung anong dapat nating gawin.”
