Alden Richards recently revealed his superhero costume in the upcoming Kapuso series, Victor Magtanggol. In an exclusive interview with 24 Oras, he then showed off the Filipino-made superhero costume that he would use.
He also expressed his excitement in wearing the superhero costume for Victor Magtanggol.
In the said interview, Alden revealed how comfortable in wearing the costume while doing his stunts.
“Surprisingly ang ganda nung movement. Parang magaan siya isuot.”
Alden described what he felt wearing a body cast for an hour. Although very uncomfortable, he loved how tailor-made his costume was.
“Isang oras kang babalutan ng material na parang tumitigas. Masakit, pero para talagang tailor-made ‘yung costume, kailangan ‘yun eh.”
Alden also had many trial looks before they approved a costume. He is proud that his superhero costume remains authentically Pinoy.
“Everything is purong Pinoy. It’s all Filipino talent, Filipino effort, blood, sweat, tears, all in one project. So ito ‘yun.”
