- His mother and manager, Annabelle Rama, now also co-manages Richard with Star Magic.
Richard recently signed a two-year contract with ABS-CBN Corporation on May 10, Thursday. Star Magic now also co-manages the actor with his own mother, Annabelle Rama. He also transferred to ABS-CBN Corporation in May 2017 after working with GMA Network for a decade.
Richard also used to star in the primetime supernatural series, La Luna Sangre.
Richard Gutierrez-Angel Locsin reunion movie put on-hold
Richard’s new contract also includes television and movie projects with ABS-CBN Corporation. However, his reunion movie with Angel Locsin has been put on-hold. Although they both starred and reunited in La Luna Sangre, many fans are still waiting for their reunion movie. In the contract signing, Richard thinks that Star Cinema only wanted to enhance and improve the script.
“I think we should ask someone from Star Cinema to answer. But me, I am just looking forward to any project or movies na I’ll be doing with Star Cinema. But for now, I think it’s put on hold. I think pinapaganda lang ‘yung script.”
Annabelle Rama collaborates with Star Magic
Nonetheless, Richard still looks forward to all the projects waiting for him. In the said contract signing, he also shared that Annabelle decided to collaborate with Star Magic.
“My mom decided to collaborate with Star Magic. Obviously it is the premiere talent management in the country. I’ve always wanted to work with them. They were able to make stars. They know what they are doing. I trust them.”
Richard also shared Annabelle wanted to slow down and retire. She also wanted to lessen the pressure in managing artists.
“My mom din kinda wants to slow down, retire na and enjoy life and enjoy her grandkids. Ayaw na niya masyado magpa-pressure in managing.”
