The reigning Reina Hispanoamericana Teresita Ssen “Winwyn” Marquez recently signed an exclusive contract with GMA Network. In an interview with Lar Santiago, Teresita also shared that she hoped to get more action roles.
She still continued to perform her duties as the reigning queen. Her duties also remain parallel with her personal advocacy of teaching and reaching out to kids.
In the said interview, Teresita shared that she wanted to have Lara Croft-like roles or Scarlett Johansson’s roles.
“Gusto ko mala-Lara Croft or Scarlett Johansson … sana kung may magandang project na gano’n, I would love to do that.”
Teresita also shared how everyone already calls her “Teresita.” However, Filipino fans still call her “Winwyn.” Her fans can call her whatever they want as long as they are comfortable with it.
“In America, they’ve been calling me Teresita. My social media handles, Teresita na. Pero here, in the Philippines, hindi talaga e. Winwyn talaga ‘yong kilala sa akin eh… It’s still both my name … Kung saan sila mas comfortable, they can call me whatever they want.”
