Luis Manzano recently voluntarily gave a father Php 10, 000 for his daughter’s 18th birthday party. However, the daughter complained about the amount. She also hoped that the sho wouldn’t edit out her father’s message.
She continued that the production may have been asking for photos of the party as a proof.
The said daughter, @iamhiselle, published series of tweets.
“Sana wag nila i-edit bukas na 10k lang binigay ni Luis Manzano sa debut”
She continued that it is usually edited out of the program.
“That’s what happen. Wag lang sana nila iedit sinabi ni Papa sa message niya HAHAHA”
“So lam nyo na. Hahaha. Sana lang di nila dayain message ni Papa sakanya”
She joked that she would find out the next day.
“HAHAHA. Malalaman natin yan bukas! Litsi! Gusto pang gamitin yung picture namin sa debut para proof potaaa kami gumastos nun!”
Luis found out that the daughter had tweeted this out. He mentioned that her father only wanted a simple gathering.
“Hi! A friend sent me this, kung di ako nagkakamali, si Sir Soldier to na sabi ko sagutin ko debut niyo tama? 🙂 after the show sabi nila sa akin simpleng handaang ang gusto ni sir pra sa inyo.. kaya ako nagbigay ng 10k para sa handa niyo 🙂 pero kung kulang….”
Luis would be willing to add if the amount is still not that enough for her. He also asked for account details so she could get more money from him. He then apologized for the said inconvenience.
“— pero kung kulang na kulang pa para sa yo ang 10k na ambag ko sa sinabing simpleng handaan ang gusto, pa DM lang ng account details para ma dagdagan ko at di ka naman nagrereklamo online 🙂 nahiya naman ako bigla 🙂 sorry sa family at party mo :)”
Luis tagged @iamhiselle and confronted her on the said amount. He also advised that she shouldn’t complain online.
“sinabi sa akin after the show na simpleng handa ang gusto ni Sir. kung kulang na kulang ang 10k para sa yo, sorry 🙂 pa DM ng account details mo para naman madagdagan ko para di ka naman ganyan online 🙂 nahiya naman ako na yun lang na ambag ko sa party mo 🙂 sorry!”
Luis posted a screenshot on Instagram about her apology. He wrote that they are now okay. Luis expressed his appreciation for the netizens defending him. He felt pity for @iamhiselle on people bashing her.
“Hi guys! Nag usap na kami ng binibini/poster regarding the 10k issue, actually nung isang araw pa and we are ok now, 100% . May i ask that everyone now give her a break and let it go? 🙂 thank you for the nice words and pagtanggol niyo sa akin, i appreciate it… pero kawawa rin this young lady sa bashing 🙂 can you guys share this para kumalat na rin? 🙂 (and i asked her to call me kuys ha, ayoko ng sir nung una) naming message 🙂 AND NAGSORRY NA SIYA NG MARAMING BESES :)”
