- Netizens and fans will give all their support to Maine Mendoza’s advocacy
Brandon Stanton’s ‘Humans of New York’ ignited Maine Mendoza’s calling for a greater mission. In fact, she is to have her own Philippine version of it called ‘Humans of Barangay.’
The ‘Humans of New York’ talks about inspiring life stories of New Yorkers and how they struggle to survive the big city’s hustle and bustle, and the challenges they faced. These unique stories are one way of an inspiration to other people who are on the brink of giving up on their lives.
Maine Mendoza is currently part of Eat Bulaga’s segment Juan For All where a team of hosts goes to different barangays every day to choose a random winner of exciting loot and money. Maine found this opportunity to ask people in the barangay about their personal stories that tell what it’s like to live a Filipino life.
The young artist stated, “Every person has their own story to tell. That includes times of adversity, that is filled with lessons, motivation, and inspiration.”
Her goal is to inspire more people to become a better person. During the launch of Humans in Barangay, she published four inspiring stories of her co-hosts in Eat Bulaga and close friends.
