Since he started showbiz, internet sensation Xander Ford received bashing and cyberbullying from those people who did not understand him.
The former Marlou Arizala recently shocked everyone with an Instagram post shared by @iamxanderford_ showing him with his blade-slashed wrist.
It is unknown whether the above-mentioned Instagram account is an alternative account of Xander Ford or a fan page, as the picture itself is not visible on his official Instagram page with the handle @iamxanderford.
“I hate Joey De Leon. He doesn’t believe depression kills a person,” the caption read. The photo itself had a caption that said “Depress” on it tagged with sad and crying emojis.
Last 2017, Xander became controversial after deciding to went under the knife for his new identity. Even so, he still received bashing from netizens saying that he is not contented with what he physically had before.
Despite trying to rebuild his identity, Xander continued to be the subject of every jokes and memes online. If the rumors were true, cyberbullying really consumed the patience and self-esteem of the 20-year old internet star.
I personally urged everyone to be more considerately intelligent in giving comments in social media. We really do not know how these hurtful words could affect someone’s confidence and self-esteem. We should be more careful and be responsible enough in differentiating constructive criticisms from cyberbullying.
