The Significant Other recently made headlines as they earned Php4.2 million only on its opening day. The said film stars Lovi Poe, Tom Rodriguez and Lovi Poe. In an Instagram post, Tom expressed his gratitude to people who supported the movie.
The Significant Other started showing in 170 cinemas nationwide on February 21, Wednesday.
In the said Instagram post, Tom wrote:
“So happy that this film is finally out!!!! 🙂 this whole production has been nothing short of a blast and I can’t help but feel blessed to have worked with such an amazing director, cast and crew. Last night’s premiere was definitely an experience!!! 🙂 So please please please don’t let it pass and do catch us while we are showing at 170 Cinemas Nationwide!!!! #thesignificantother”
The Significant Other reveals the story of Edward (Tom), a cosmetic surgeon. It also centers around his infidelity towards his wife, Maxene (Lovi) who works as a supermodel.
