Richard Gomez recently tweeted out a link of a fake news article. As of this writing, the said article has been taken down. The said website has also been suspended as it had not been compliant with the community regulation.
The said article insinuated that BBC Channel reports the Queen Elizabeth commending the Philippines on having President Rodrigo Duterte.
Richard’s tweet also read:
“Queen Elizabeth:Who Would Have Thought That One Day Philippines Will Get A Brave man Like Duterte?- BBC Channel.”
Although, this may have been the result of a hacked account or a virus he had opened. Netizens still slammed Richard on believing said fake news.
A netizen also called him a fool for believing said fake news.
“Hahahahahahahaha. Ang tanga nalang naniniwala sa fakenews, meyor.”
Another netizen replied that it tells a lot about Richard’s character as a person.
“Kaya nga eh. Tells a lot about him.”
Another netizen couldn’t believe that Richard tweeted out a fake news article.

Although, as of this writing the tweet has been deleted, many caught a screenshot of it and re-posted it.
