Erich Gonzales receives advice from Claudine Barretto on portraying triple role

• The 27-year old actress considers “The Blood Sisters” as the most challenging role so far.

In an interview of PEP.ph with Kapamilya actress Erich Gonzales, she shared that she received an advice from Claudine Barretto who portrayed triple role on the 1999 series “Saan Ka Man Naroroon.”

The 27-year old actress admitted that “The Blood Sisters” requires a lot from her as an actress.

“I talked to Mama Pretty, I call her Mama Pretty, si Ate Claudine. In one of our dinners, nakuwento lang niya na, ‘O, exciting ito but make sure, ‘wag mong kalimutan, stay sane,” she shared.

“‘Wag mo masyadong i-push ang sarili mo, you feel like na di mo na ito kayang gawin.Cause ako, hanggang di bumibigay ang katawan ko, go lang ako ng go. Lahat ng tao, pagod ka na? Gusto mo nang umuwi?

“‘Di yun manggagaling sa akin, it’s not my call, hanggang kaya go lang. Kahit masakit, go lang, not unless sabihin nilang pack up. Never nilang maririnig sa akin, I’m tired, I wanna go home, walang ganun. Ganun tayo ka-passionate with our job,’” she added.

Just like Claudine, Erich assures that she will do her best on doing her roles in the upcoming early prime time series.

“Mahirap kung sa mahirap because imagine in one day kailangan mong magpalit-palit ng characters. Sa isang eksena magkakasama silang tatlo, change makeup ka, iba naman, damit, lahat. Kailangan alam mo talaga ang puso ng bawat character,” she stated.

“Pinaka-challenging, pinaka-daring, pinakamahirap sa lahat. Kumbaga, ito yung dream project so talagang wala tayong ititira sa sarili natin, give your all. Unang-una, nagpapasalamat tayo dahil pinagkatiwalaan tayo ng ganitong klase ng project.”

According to Erich, there are some intense scenes that they shoot on Baguio that made her nearly collapse.

“Mahirap talaga ito, kailangang pagtrabahuhan… kailangan prepared talaga kayo. Nag-shoot kami nun sa Baguio… lahat ng scenes namin, super intense talaga. To the point na yung veins ko, feel ko puputok na anytime, parang aatakihin ako sa puso. Naka-stand by yung ambulance,” she continued.

“The Blood Sisters” also features Kapamilya stars Enchong Dee, Ejay Falcon with veteran actors Jestoni Alarcon, Cherry Pie Picache and Dina Bonnevie.
