Xian Lim recently transferred from Star Magic to Viva Artists Agency under Veronique del Rosario. The actor signed the five-year management contract of the talent agency and also, a ten-picture contract under the Viva Films, January 23, Tuesday. Many wondered about the reason why Xian transferred.
In the recent press interview, Xian shared that he received an opportunity from Viva for Miss Granny which also stars James Reid.
“An opportunity was presented to me by Viva with working with Sarah and James sa upcoming movie nila na Miss Granny and I was very excited to be part of the project.”
It has been his dream to work with Popstar Royalty, Sarah Geronimo, for a long time.
“Even from a couple of years back, pag tinatanong ako kung sino ang gusto kong makapareha. I mean, to be able to work with Sarah is already a very huge blessing. And syempre si James din. Nagkakasalubong lang kami, just ‘hi-hello’ but now, makakatrabaho ko na sila.”
Xian also thought hard of the offer and had a sincere talk with his mother. He bid a proper goodbye and expressed his gratitude to his Star Magic family. Director Johnny Manahan (Mr. M) and Mariole Alberto understand his career move. He also revealed that he doesn’t have any displeasure against the ABS-CBN Corporation and remains thankful for the network. He just wants career-growth and change for himself.
