‘Gandarrapido: The Revenger Squad’ that starred Vice Ganda, Daniel Padilla and Pia Wurtzbach and ‘Ang Panday’ with Coco Martin as lead star and director; opened in Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) 2017 on December 25, Christmas Day.
According to the report of Pilipino Star Ngayon, the two movies earned P125 million in their respective opening days.
Apparently, the said two films placed first and second. The executive committee refuse to release actual figures and rankings.
Although, a lot of Netizens predict wins for ‘Ang Larawan’ and ‘Deadma Walking’ come awards night set at Kia Theater tight. Also, both of the movies’ team requested the MMFF committee to refrain from removing the films in cinemas.
