Christmas is the time for reunions, celebrations, and exciting activities for the whole family. Knowing how Filipinos love and support the entertainment industry, Wilbros Live chose to bring a present that will surely thrill audience of all ages. “IMPOSSIBLE Manila: The World’s Greatest Magic Show” is dubbed the title for a reason, it features six amazing and talented magicians and illusionists to bring together unique and astonishing tricks for everybody’s pleasure.
Fresh from London’s West End, the cast individually possess mind-boggling expertise.
Magical Bones combines awesome dance moves with his magic tricks. Ali Cook is a daring escapologist sleight of hand expert, stage illusionist and performer of thought control. Ben Hart has continuously pushed boundaries in performing unorthodox tricks. Chris Cox has a peculiar way of reading minds as he’s a comedian on the side lines. Josephine Lee, the only female member of the group, carries with her some death-defying stunts and cool performances. Lastly, Bello Nock is the charming and out-of-this-world magician whose fans like to tag as “Comic Daredevil.”
All six of them made the Christmas of families and friends extra special and exhilarating. Every spectator was left sitting on the edge of their seats while their jaws are slowly dropping with every act.
Before the show got on the road, we had the chance to talk with the cast on a press conference. There, as regular human beings, they admit that even the world’s greatest experience fear as well.
“So much can go wrong all the time, I think you just kind of have to block it all out, have fun, and try not to think about the one hundred million, billion things that could go wrong,” Josephine Lee advised.
“The fear of failure is probably the biggest fear. That doesn’t mean that you stop and don’t try it,” Bello Nock explains. “The worst thing that someone could ever do is freeze and not do anything.”
