Global electronics brand TCL celebrated its 25th anniversary in the Philippines with a grand launch event at Okada Manila’s Grand Ballroom, unveiling its latest lineup of smart home innovations and announcing a landmark global partnership with the International Olympic Committee through 2032.
With the theme ‘Legendary Moment, Timeless Greatness,’ the event reflected on TCL’s achievements over the past two and a half decades and introduced a bold vision for the future—centered on technology that inspires, connects, and improves everyday living for Filipino families.
TCL’s journey in the country began in 1999 with televisions, and has since expanded to air conditioners, refrigerators, and washing machines. The brand has steadily gained the trust of Filipino consumers, recently achieving the Triple Global Top 1 ranking in Mini-LED, Google TV, and ultra-large screen TVs (85 inches and above), according to the OMDIA 2024 report.

The evening’s centerpiece was the introduction of TCL’s 2025 product lineup. Among the highlights was the X11K QD-Mini LED TV, which boasts breakthrough brightness levels, deep contrast, and audio by Bang & Olufsen—delivering a truly cinematic experience at home. TCL is the world’s only vertically integrated Mini LED TV brand.
Also launched were the FreshIN 3.0 air conditioners, equipped with Liftable Fresh Air Inlets, QuadruPuri Filters, and whisper-quiet operation at just 16dB. The Super Drum Combo+ Washer and Dryer and Bottom Mounted AAT Inverter+ Refrigerator were likewise unveiled, showcasing TCL’s commitment to efficiency, health, and smart living.
A major highlight of the event was TCL’s announcement of its official worldwide Olympic partnership, which will run until 2032. This collaboration aims to bring TCL’s innovative technologies into Olympic villages while enhancing the global fan experience.
“Being a global technology leader, TCL believes in the power to inspire greatness—a message that echoes the Olympic spirit,” said Shae Yu, Deputy Director of Marketing, TCL Philippines.
Joining Yu onstage was world-renowned Filipino pole vaulter EJ Obiena, who expressed pride in the partnership. “Just like TCL, athletes constantly push boundaries to achieve greatness. That shared mindset makes this collaboration truly meaningful,” he shared.
Backed by strong market growth—211% year-on-year increase in washing machine sales and 279% in refrigerators—TCL’s success in the Philippines is a testament to its ability to meet the real needs of consumers.
CEO Peter Chen emphasized, “Innovation has always been part of our DNA. We’re not just following trends—we’re creating meaningful, sustainable technologies that elevate lives.”
The celebration also introduced TCL’s newest celebrity partners, actresses Rhian Ramos and Valeen Montenegro, who both shared their excitement about joining a brand known for innovation, accessibility, and premium quality. Ramos praised the FreshIN 3.0’s energy-saving features, while Montenegro shared how the QD Mini LED TV transformed her living space into an immersive entertainment hub.
The night concluded with a toast led by TCL Philippines’ Deputy Director of Sales Cyd Montebon and Deputy Director of Retail Wesley Yang, thanking partners, customers, and supporters for being part of TCL’s journey.
“Tonight is more than a celebration—it’s a promise that the best is yet to come,” Yang declared.
