In the clip, the Goin’ Bulilit alumna was seen waving to fans behind a barricade, saying, “…bawal daw eh,” suggesting she was prohibited from taking photos.
The video triggered online criticism, with some accusing San Pedro of a “diva attitude,” particularly since other celebrities at the ball freely posed with fans.
Showbiz host Jobert Sucaldito commented, “Sharlene, sa katulad mong nagbabalik para mafamiliarize ulit ang mga tao… saan nanggaling na bawal magpa-picture?”

Taking to social media, San Pedro clarified her actions. “Uy viral pala ‘yung isang video sa Facebook. Sumunod lang naman ako na bawal magpa-picture parang kasalanan ko pa?” she posted, stressing she was following event rules, though it’s unclear if the directive came from Star Magic or another organizer.
“Saka okay lang sa akin na masabihan na masungit, kasi hindi naman totoo,” she added, brushing off claims of being a snob. She further noted, “Hindi ko po gusto ng atensyon that night. Umattend lang po ako. Salamat sa mga nagtatanggol,” thanking fans who defended her.
