GMA Network’s action-drama series ‘Mga Batang Riles (MBR)’ celebrated a milestone in its ratings journey after finally outpacing its Kapamilya counterpart, ‘Incognito’, in their ongoing rivalry.

According to the latest Nielsen NUTAM People ratings, MBR clinched its first victory over ‘Incognito’ on Thursday, April 3, with a 9.3% rating—enough to place it as the 4th most-watched TV show nationwide. In contrast, ‘Incognito’ dropped to 5th place with a 9.0% rating, trailing MBR by 0.3%.
However, the momentum shifted back the very next day. On Friday, April 4, ‘Incognito’ reclaimed the lead with a 9.7% rating, rising to the 3rd spot overall. MBR, meanwhile, slipped to 8.0%, settling at 5th and marking a 1.7% gap behind its rival.
Before its brief lead, MBR had consistently trailed behind ‘Incognito’ since the beginning of their face-off.
Earlier in the week, on Monday, March 31, MBR debuted the week with an 8.2% rating placing 5th on the ratings board, while ‘Incognito’ secured 3rd place with a 10.0% rating. On Tuesday, April 1, MBR improved to 8.9%, narrowing the gap with ‘Incognito’ at 9.1% which secured the number 4 overall ranking.
And on Wednesday, April 2, MBR rose again to 9.4%, but remained behind ‘Incognito’, which posted 10.1%.
With the ratings race heating up, the question remains: Can ‘Mga Batang Riles’ build on its breakthrough and pull ahead once more? Or will ‘Incognito’ widen the gap and cement its lead?
