Kyline Alcantara is turning up the heat while keeping her cool as the cover star of Cosmopolitan Philippines’ April 2025 issue.
With the feature titled “It’s Hot Girl Summer For Kyline Alcantara, But She’s Keeping Her Cool,” the 22-year-old actress bares her truth about rising through the noise and navigating a path that’s been anything but easy.
“It hasn’t always been easy or smooth sailing,” Kyline admits in the cover story. But despite the detours, she’s transformed every challenge into a defining moment — keeping herself grounded and focused on her goals.
“I just protect my peace. There are days when you cannot just silence the noise, it’s drowning. But, you cannot just sink, you need to focus again and float above the surface by listening to the voices that matter to you,” she shares.
In a world where fame often invites criticism, Kyline chooses calm over chaos. “I’ve been bashed for the things that I did not say or do, or because I decided to upgrade myself, or just because I tried too hard. But, I was judged already before I even opened my mouth, so I’d rather have my small circle know my truth than be open in public and still be judged and bashed for it.”
For Kyline, self-love isn’t just a buzzword—it’s a lifeline. “Recently, I’ve just realized that you need to fill your own cup before you fill someone else’s cup. ‘Coz that’s the most important thing in the world—yourself,” she said.
She adds, “If you asked me this before, I’m gonna say my family, my friends, me. But right now, it’s myself, my family, my friends, and of course, my work.”
Through it all, Kyline holds firm to her values and unwavering faith. “Kahit anong sabihin n’yo sa akin, it’s okay as long as my intentions are clear. I know my truth. And I know that my truth is the truth. You may have your own side of the story, but my truth is the truth.”
“I really don’t have to explain myself. You can say whatever you want about me as long as alam ni God, alam ng Panginoong Diyos kung ano talaga nasa puso ko. Kung ano talaga ‘yung nangyari. I am comfortable with that. I can sleep peacefully at night with that. I can live with that,” she concluded.
Beyond her magazine cover, Kyline is set to return to television in ‘Beauty Empire’—an upcoming revenge drama series produced by GMA Network, CreaZion Studios, and Viu. The show dives into fierce rivalries in the beauty industry, with Kyline starring alongside Barbie Forteza, Ruffa Gutierrez, Choi Bo Min, Gloria Diaz, Sam Concepcion, Chai Fonacier, and Sid Lucero.
‘Beauty Empire’ is currently in production and will premiere first on Viu before airing on GMA Network.
