In an emotional and empowering moment on ‘Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition’, OPM singer Klarisse De Guzman bravely came out as bisexual during a heartfelt conversation with her housemates, making a powerful statement on national television.

Before the episode aired on Wednesday night, April 3, social media was already buzzing with excitement and speculation about Klarisse’s anticipated revelation. Many netizens correctly guessed that it was something deeply personal—and they were right.
“I’m not straight,” Klarisse declared. “I am bi.”
She shared that she has been in a relationship with her partner, Trina, for four years now. While this may have been unknown to the public, Klarisse shared that her family—especially her parents—have long been aware and supportive.
“Hindi ko in-expect na masasabi ko rito. Wala lang, ang lakas lang ng loob ko para sabihin,” she said. “Hindi alam ng public, but alam ng parents ko. Bago mawala ang papa ko, and alam ng mama ko. Ang kasama ng mama ko ngayon is her [Trina].”
Klarisse revealed that she was initially hesitant to join PBB, fearing the level of exposure and vulnerability it might require. But over time, she realized this was the perfect opportunity to be honest with herself and with the public.
“Kaya ko bang i-open ‘yung buhay ko sa tao, sa public? Obviously, nandito ako, so kaya ko,” she shared. “Tingin ko ito na ‘yung time para sabihin ko sa inyong lahat and to tell the world.”
The singer made her revelation during a task led by house guest Michelle Dee—herself an openly queer advocate—making the moment even more significant and symbolic.
Klarisse also recalled a performance she gave during a musical task inside the house, saying that the lyrics she sang deeply resonated with her journey: “’Di ka depektibo / Iba man ay manibago / Baliko o tuwid, ‘yan ang mundo / At walang mali sa ‘yo.’”
Her housemates responded with warm applause, hugs, and heartfelt affirmations, embracing Klarisse for her courage and authenticity. The moment instantly resonated with viewers, drawing praise across social media for her honesty and representation.

She ended her confession with a resounding statement that captured the spirit of her message: “I am proud. Love wins!”
This marks the third time a housemate has come out as part of the LGBTQIA+ community inside Kuya’s house, following BB Gandanghari (formerly Rustom Padilla) in 2006 and Fifth Solomon in 2-14.
Klarisse, dubbed the ‘Kwelang Soul Diva of Antipolo’, is currently paired with Mama’s ‘Dreambae ng Cavite Will Ashley’ in the show’s ongoing edition.
‘Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition’ airs weeknights at 10:00 p.m. and weekends at 6:15 p.m. on GMA, Kapuso Stream, GMANetwork.com, Kapamilya Online Live, iWantTFC, TFC, and All-Access Livestream platforms.
