Rising star Chryzquin Yu took center stage at Noctos Bar in Quezon City as she was officially introduced as the newest solo artist under Blvck Entertainment Production, Inc., led by Engineers Louie and Grace Cristobal.
Her powerful post-media con performance left an indelible impression, marking the beginning of a bold new chapter in her career.
Known for her dynamic presence as a performer, Chryzquin is no stranger to the spotlight. She began performing at a young age through hit talent shows such as ‘Talentadong Pinoy Kids’, ‘Dance Kids’, ‘Your Moment’, ‘Eat Bulaga Bida Next’, ‘World of Dance PH’, and ‘It’s Showtime’s Girl on Fire’—honing her craft in front of national audiences.
Her breakout came as the lead rapper and main dancer of the all-girl group Blvck Flowers, where she developed her stage persona and built a loyal fanbase. However, a health setback delayed her group debut. Rather than lose momentum, Chryzquin used the time to train harder and refine her skills.
Now making her solo debut, she emerges more determined than ever. “I’m nervous, but incredibly excited,” Chryzquin said. “This is a dream come true, and I’ll give my best to everyone who believes in me.”
Her newly released single, ‘‘Di Na’ featuring Jake Piedad, is now streaming on all major platforms. Directed by Louie Ong, the music video is also available on YouTube and supported by several partners, including Alkaviva Waters Philippines, GLC Infinite Waters International Co., Grace Electronics Philippines, Blue Green Dragon Marketing, LG Realty Development, Bear Dots, and Blvck Creatives Studio.
Beyond music, Chryzquin is also a commercial model and a decorated dancesport athlete. A student at the University of Santo Tomas, she continues to balance her academic pursuits with her burgeoning entertainment career.
She has received recognition in the K-pop and P-pop communities, bagging the 2023 Best Rapper award at the KPOP Static Cover Artist Awards and the Star of the Night title at the 2023 PPOP Awards.
