Christrina Rey, the partner of Kapamilya singer and current ‘Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab’ housemate Klarisse De Guzman, is now calling for legal action against a netizen who issued a disturbing threat directed at Klarisse’s mother.
In a series of emotional Facebook posts, Christrina directly named the basher—identified as Pam Macalanda—who left a comment during the PBB livestream last Monday, April 21.
The message read: “Wag ka mag-alala Klang, lapit ka na lumabas. Susunod na mama mo sa papa mo,” referring to Klarisse’s late father and implying harm toward her mother.
Christrina did not hold back her outrage: “You don’t have any idea what we’ve been through and what we’re going through… PAM, YOU CROSSED THE LINE. WALA KANG KARAPATAN IDAMAY SI TITO AT TITA!” she wrote.
While Christrina initially refrained from reacting to negative comments during Klarisse’s journey inside PBB, she explained that this particular threat was simply unacceptable. “For legal purposes, please help us find this person!” she added.
The incident triggered backlash online, with netizens condemning the basher’s insensitive remark. Christrina later posted that while she usually promotes kindness, this time she could not stay silent.
“Not them, honey. Get what you deserve,” she warned.
The netizen, Pam Macalanda, later issued a public apology on Facebook, claiming the comment stemmed from personal stress and confusion.
“Hindi ko na din talaga alam bakit ko po naipost yun… sobrang naapektuhan lang po ako,” she said, pleading for forgiveness and requesting that posts about her threat be taken down.
However, the apology was not enough to stop the wave of public criticism. Netizens also flooded the social media page of her reported employer, prompting the company to clarify that Macalanda has not been affiliated with them since March.
“We will not be tolerating anyone that is involving us in that matter,” they stated.
As of this writing, Macalanda’s social media accounts have been deactivated, and Christrina has yet to confirm whether formal legal proceedings are underway.
The controversy began following a heated exchange between Klarisse and fellow housemate Dustin Yu over their weekly task, which led to increased tension inside the PBB house. Despite this, Klarisse has remained unaware of the threat, as she is still inside Bahay ni Kuya.
Fans and supporters of the singer have since rallied behind Christrina, expressing their concern and calling for accountability.
