It was a red carpet dream realized for two-time Olympic gold medalist Carlos Yulo and his girlfriend, Star Pop artist Chloe San Jose, as they attended their very first ABS-CBN Ball on Friday night, April 4, 2025, held at the Solaire Resort North in Quezon City.

The couple described the experience as “overwhelming but meaningful,” having only seen the prestigious Kapamilya event on TV and social media in previous years.
“This is so special because we got to walk the red carpet together for the first time. It’s a dream come true,” Chloe shared. “I’m so thankful to my Star Pop and ABS-CBN family for making this happen.”
Carlos echoed the sentiment, saying, “The experience, the opportunities, the blessings—we’re truly grateful. This is such a big moment for us.”
Carlos wore a crisp white suit by Vin Orias, styled by Ryan Viloria, while Chloe turned heads in a custom gown by Russel May with styling by Cath Sobrevega. Adding flair to her look, Chloe debuted freshly dyed hair for the evening. “I just wanted something different,” she said. “It’ll stay this way for a while.”

The two posed for photos with some of the biggest names in showbiz, including Vice Ganda, Coco Martin, Julia Montes, John Estrada, Daniel Padilla, Karla Estrada, Ruffa Gutierrez, Sue Ramirez, and Dominic Roque.
Chloe also took time to snap photos with style icons Heart Evangelista, Michelle Dee, Maymay Entrata, and Nadine Lustre. She captioned one of her posts, “If elegance had a group chat… this is it.”
The pair, who have been open about how much they thrive when together, once again showed their support for each other on the big night.
“When I was recording my songs, he was there. During my music video shoot, he was there. And now, he’s here again, supporting me,” Chloe said.
Carlos added, “She’s so supportive. You can really see the results and energy I get to give to people when she’s around.”
With Chloe making waves in the local music scene and Carlos continuing to break records in the world of gymnastics, the ABS-CBN Ball was not just a glamorous moment—it was a testament to their strong partnership, both professionally and personally.
Their appearance came shortly after fellow Olympian Hidilyn Diaz walked the runway in a separate fashion event, further cementing the crossover between sports and showbiz.
