An arrest warrant has been issued by the Bacoor City Municipal Trial Court Branch 2 against actor Archie Alemania in connection with the acts of lasciviousness case filed by actress-singer Rita Daniela.

In a court order dated March 18, 2025, the court stated that it had found probable cause to proceed with the trial.
“After a careful evaluation of the information, the resolution, investigation data form, the complaint affidavit of the complaining witness, and other pertinent documents, the court finds probable cause to hold the accused for trial,” the order read.
The court also noted that Alemania is currently at large and ordered the issuance of a warrant of arrest. A bail of ₱36,000 has been recommended.
The case stems from an alleged incident that took place during a thanksgiving party in September 2024 for the cast and crew of the murder-mystery series ‘Widows’ War’. In her complaint filed in October, Rita accused Alemania of kissing and inappropriately touching her without consent, as well as making repeated lewd remarks toward her during the party.
The actor has denied the allegations in a counter-affidavit filed in December 2024.
In an update shared on ‘Fast Talk with Boy Abunda’ on Wednesday, April 2, host Boy Abunda relayed that Rita’s legal counsel, Atty. Maggie Abraham Garduque, is urging Alemania to either surrender voluntarily or be apprehended immediately so the hearings can finally begin.
Atty. Garduque also revealed that the incident has caused Rita to suffer from Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), and hopes that the court’s action will help in her healing process.
Boy Abunda added that his program remains open should Archie Alemania wish to share his side in light of the recent developments.
