VMX stars Yen Durano and Robb Guinto are set to face tough questions in the March 29 episode of ‘Your Honor’ titled “In Aid of Virginity: Big Deal Pa Ba Ito?” on the YouLOL YouTube channel.
During the session, host Tuesday Vargas asked how they deal with public attention and judgment surrounding their work.
Yen responded candidly, clarifying that while their projects may be bold, they are not involved in sex work.
“Hindi naman ‘to sex work, pero people think it’s like that… kasi ‘di ba marami na sasabihin na, ‘uy ito pokpok siya, nagpapabayad ‘yan,’” she said.
Yen, who recently transitioned out of the streaming platform known for daring films, earlier revealed on Fast Talk with Boy Abunda that she’s now focusing on her music career as an R&B and soul singer-songwriter.
“I guess it doesn’t align with my current energy anymore… I feel like I’m done with it,” she said in her February 12 guesting, referring to her departure from Vivamax. She emphasized that her current priority is creating music and exploring other artistic ventures.
Yen also shared that while her father, actor DJ Durano, supports her shift in direction, she initially didn’t inform him when she started working in sexy films.
