Social media personality Xian Gaza has once again sparked controversy after claiming that Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla have reconciled.
He further hinted that he possesses video evidence to prove it.
Gaza initially teased the possibility of the former couple rekindling their romance through a Facebook post, stating: “Ang tsismis eh nagkabalikan na daw pala ang KathNiel. This is not kompirmd yet kasi isang source pa lang ang nag-i-splook sa akin. How true?”
Shortly after, he followed up with a more assertive declaration: “BREAKING NEWS: Kathryn Bernardo & Daniel Padilla, nagkaayos na! Kompirmd 99.9 percent! Yung 0.01% ay yung germs na hindi napatay ng Safeguard!”
While he initially asked fans to keep the matter quiet, the situation escalated after Kathryn’s mother, Min Bernardo, posted a video urging fans not to believe in “fake news.”
Seemingly taking offense at Mommy Min’s statement, Gaza responded aggressively, warning that he could release a video proving his claims.
“Confirmed! 99.9% na nagka-reconcile na sila (KathNiel). Naku, daming nakakakita na nagkakausap sila. May mga lihim na pagtatagpo and everything else. Huwag niyo matawag-tawag na fake news mga sinasabi ko! Baka bigla akong mag-upload ng video dito, baka ‘di mo kayanin, Mother.”
His remarks have since stirred mixed reactions from KathNiel fans. While some are hopeful that Kathryn and Daniel are back together, others have criticized Gaza for interfering in the private affairs of celebrities.
Last February, Mommy Min Bernardo addressed the public in a video shared by Long Gumatay, a known KathNiel supporter.
“I know them very well. Huwag kayong masyadong naniniwala sa mga fake news,” she said.
As of now, neither Kathryn Bernardo nor Daniel Padilla has issued any statement regarding the reconciliation rumors. Whether Gaza follows through with his claim to release a video remains to be seen.
