Comedian and TV host Vice Ganda delivered a pointed reminder to contestants of Tawag Ng Tanghalan (TNT) and the public at large, urging caution when sharing opinions or accusations online.

The statement came in the wake of the disqualification of Marco Adobas, a contender in the TNT All-Star Grand Resbak 2025, a special season of the popular singing competition featured on the noontime show It’s Showtime. Adobas was removed from the contest after posting claims of rigging against both the competition and the show.
Adobas’ allegations surfaced following a three-way battle in the competition, where his fellow Pangkat Alon member Ayegee Paredes lost to Marko Rudio. Despite Paredes receiving the only standing ovation from the judges, Rudio emerged victorious, prompting Adobas to take to social media with his accusations. The claims stirred controversy among fans and contestants alike, ultimately leading to his disqualification from the competition.
Addressing the issue, Vice Ganda emphasized the importance of distinguishing between opinion and accusation, while acknowledging everyone’s right to express their views.
(“You can give an opinion—but an opinion is different from an accusation. This isn’t just for the contestants here, but for everyone.”)
The host stressed that the reminder applies beyond the competition, noting that all TNT participants sign a waiver agreeing to the show’s rules before joining.
Vice also highlighted the broader consequences of reckless online posts, urging mindfulness in the digital age.
The TNT All-Star Grand Resbak 2025, now in its second round, brings back non-winners from past seasons for another chance at the grand champion title. Following Adobas’ exit, Arvery Lagoring, a former member of the now-dissolved Pangkat Amihan, has stepped in to take his place in Pangkat Alon.
The shakeup has added a new layer of intrigue to the ongoing competition, which continues to captivate audiences nationwide.
