The film opened strong on March 26 with a ₱12 million haul on its first day — the highest opening-day gross for any local film in 2025 so far. It continues to screen in theaters across the Philippines and around the world.
Directed by Chad Vidanes, ‘My Love Will Make You Disappear’ follows the story of Sari (Kim Chiu), a woman who believes she is cursed because every man she falls in love with mysteriously disappears. Enter Jolo (Paulo Avelino), a heartbroken man eager to vanish from his own painful past — and who sees Sari’s “curse” as his escape.
The film marks the first big-screen pairing of Kim and Paulo, affectionately dubbed KimPau by fans, after their hit series ‘Linlang’ and the Philippine adaptation of ‘What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim’. Their undeniable chemistry has become a major draw for moviegoers.
The star-studded cast also includes Melai Cantiveros, Wilma Doesnt, Lovely Abella, Benj Manalo, Nico Antonio, Migs Almendras, Martin Escudero, Karina Bautista, Jeremiah Lisbo, Atasha Franco, Kelsey Lasam, and Lucas Andalio.
‘My Love Will Make You Disappear’ is currently screening in major cinemas nationwide and is being shown exclusively in select theaters across the United States and Canada.
