‘Pinoy Big Brother (PBB) Celebrity Edition 1’ Big Winner Keanna Reeves recently revisited her past emotional experiences inside Bahay ni Kuya, revealing her heartbreaks involving John Prats and BB Gandanghari.
During her guest appearance on ‘Fast Talk with Boy Abunda’ on March 17, Keanna candidly shared how her close friendships with the two celebrities inside the reality show led to misunderstandings, unspoken feelings, and unexpected twists.
Keanna admitted that she developed a crush on John Prats while they were inside the ‘PBB’ house in 2006. However, their friendship became controversial because John was already in a relationship at the time.
“Naging best friend kami tapos may issue-issue sa loob. Kasi may girlfriend siya noong pagpasok. Tapos noong paglabas parang naghiwalay ata sila,” Keanna recalled.
While she knew their connection would likely remain inside Bahay ni Kuya, she became emotional when John reportedly expressed discomfort about their interactions, despite initiating their on-screen kisses.
“Kasi nagki-kiss kami sa lips noon. Tapos nagreklamo siya kay Kuya na baka daw ma-misinterpret iyon sa labas. Tapos siya naman yung lapit ng lapit. Siya naman ‘yung kiss ng kiss,” she shared.
What hurt Keanna the most was when John compared their closeness to a mother-child dynamic, making her feel dismissed.
“Kaya umiyak ako. ‘Kung nagrereklamo ka, bakit hindi mo sabihin sa akin? Bakit sinasabi mo pa kay Kuya na naiilang ka?'”
Despite the misunderstanding, Keanna clarified that they eventually patched things up and maintained a strong friendship even after the reality show.
Aside from her experience with John Prats, Keanna also shared a hilarious yet surprising heartbreak involving Rustom Padilla, who later came out as BB Gandanghari.
She recounted a particular moment inside the PBB house when she thought Rustom was about to confess romantic feelings for her.
“Akala ko, Tito Boy, liligawan niya ako. Pinainom kami ng red wine ni Kuya tapos kami lang dalawa, parang binigyan kami ng moment. Akala ko syempre excited na ko noon na parang magtatapat siya sa akin na gusto niya ako.”
However, Keanna was caught off guard when Rustom later revealed that he was struggling with his identity and eventually came out as a transwoman, adopting the name BB Gandanghari.
“Parang alam mo ‘yung in reality hindi pala. Pareho pala kami ng gusto,” she quipped, drawing laughter from Boy Abunda and fellow guest Myrtle Sarrosa.
She jokingly added that she wished Rustom had delayed the revelation a bit longer so they could have had a short-lived romance.
“Sinabi ko sa kanya paglabas, ‘Sana i-delay mo muna. Tayo muna tapos tsaka ka na magtapat.'”
Despite these past heartbreaks, Keanna Reeves now looks back at her experiences inside Bahay ni Kuya with no bitterness, only fond memories.
