Television host and actress Jervi “KaladKaren” Wrightson has denied rumors that she and her husband, Luke Wrightson, have parted ways.
Speaking at the end of TV5’s ‘Frontline Pilipinas’, KaladKaren addressed the speculation and assured everyone that their relationship remains strong.
The rumors began circulating online after netizens noticed that some of her Instagram photos with Luke had disappeared, sparking speculations of a breakup. However, the actress-host clarified that while they, like any other couple, face challenges, they are still very much together.
“Lilinawin ko lamang po yung issue tungkol sa amin ni Luke. You know, our marriage is not perfect katulad ng ibang couples, siyempre may misunderstandings, meron challenges. Hindi rin po nakakatulong na minsan hindi kami magkasama because Luke is working abroad,” KaladKaren explained.
She emphasized that they have weathered many storms in their 13-year relationship and continue to choose love every day.
“For 13 years, sinubok na po kami ng panahon. Araw-araw pinipili po namin mahalin ang isa’t isa so kami pa rin po. We’re still together, wala po kaming problema ni Luke. Masaya po kaming mag-asawa,” she added.
KaladKaren also set the record straight regarding the viral TikTok video that allegedly hinted at a breakup. She explained that it was merely a lighthearted post and had no underlying message about her personal life.
“Feel ko lang siya i-TikTok nung araw na yun,” she clarified.
Meanwhile, she revealed that her management team had been reorganizing her Instagram feed, leading to the temporary removal of some photos—including those with Luke—which netizens quickly took as a sign of a split.
“Nagulat nga ako bakit wala yung ibang pictures ko. So yun––parang napagtagpi-tagpi na lang ng mga netizens yung kuwento.”

KaladKaren also called out fake news creators who edited old videos of her crying and used them to spread false narratives about her marriage.
“Meron pa gumagawa ng fake news, fake videos, inisplice yung dati kong vlogs tapos nilalagay yung umiiyak ako doon sa issue.”
Amid the issue, KaladKaren urged the public to be more discerning about the content they consume online, warning against fake news and misleading narratives.
“I think ang moral of the story [is] we have to be responsible with the content we receive and consume. Yung mga napapanood natin online, mag-ingat po tayo sa fake news and of course, let’s mind our own business.”
She also shared that Luke simply laughed off the controversy, as they both knew there was no truth to the rumors.
“Hindi na dapat ako magsasalita kasi wala naman talagang issue po talaga. Kami pa rin.”
