Ranollo and Manalo are both participants in the historic Kapamilya-Kapuso collab project, PBB Celebrity Collab Edition, marking the reality show’s 20th anniversary.
Esnyr Ranollo recently revealed a desire to forge a deeper connection with fellow Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab Edition housemate, Brent Manalo. During an emotional discussion among housemates where they shared gratitude and apologies, Ranollo admitted that despite their seemingly close relationship showcased in numerous vlogs, he and Manalo haven’t had a truly meaningful conversation.
“I want to connect more with Brent, kasi, oo, alam nang lahat na magkasama kami (on set), pero wala pa po kaming, like, deep talk…“ Ranollo shared. He explained that he feels he doesn’t truly know Manalo as a person.
“Wala pa akong alam sa istorya niya, at siya sa akin, “ he added, highlighting the lack of personal connection beyond their professional collaboration. This revelation, he admitted, has led to some awkwardness between them.
Before entering the PBB house, Ranollo and Manalo garnered a significant following through a vlog series produced by Ranollo, where they starred as a love team. This has led many fans to hope their onscreen chemistry translates into a deeper relationship within the PBB house.
Whether this desire for a closer connection will blossom into a genuine friendship or something more remains to be seen, but it’s certainly a storyline fans are eager to follow.
