Public service and talk program ‘Cayetano in Action with Boy Abunda’ (CIA with BA) received special recognition at the recently concluded 38th PMPC Star Awards for TV.The Philippine Movie Press Club (PMPC) officially unveiled this year’s winners, naming ‘CIA with BA’ the Best Public Affairs Program.
Senators Alan Peter and Pia Cayetano, along with Boy Abunda, were also honored as the Best Public Affairs Program Hosts.
“Maraming salamat po sa PMPC Star Awards for Television sa inyong pagkilala at parangal sa Cayetano in Action with Boy Abunda,” the program said in a statement.
“Para po ito sa ating mga naging bisita sa programa, sa mga walang-sawang sumusuporta, sa mga staff, at sa buong sambayanang Pilipino,” they added.
‘CIA with BA’ airs every Sunday at 11:00 p.m. on GMA7, with replays on GTV the following Saturday at 10:30 p.m. The show continues the legacy of the late Senator Rene Cayetano by providing legal advice and assistance to those in need.
