Actress Ryza Cenon shocked members of the press when she admitted to having a “third eye” and the ability to sense supernatural entities during the media conference for ‘Lilim’, a horror-suspense film set to premiere on March 12, 2025.
During the press conference held at Viva Café, Ryza shared that she has long been sensitive to paranormal activity, often seeing spirits, feeling unexplained presences, and experiencing eerie sensations.
“Nakakaramdam talaga ako, kaya tuwing may shooting sa isang location, lagi akong nagsasabi ng ‘tabi-tabi po,’” she revealed.
She explained that whenever she works on a set, particularly in locations known for their supernatural history, she makes it a habit to ask permission from spirits to avoid disturbances.
“Dapat kasi magbigay galang sa kanila para hindi nila tayo gambalain,” she added.
Ryza also warns her colleagues in production to be respectful and avoid littering or making unnecessary disturbances in certain places.
“Huwag magkakalat, huwag bastusin ang lugar, kasi may mga hindi nakikitang puwersa na hindi gustong binababoy ang kanilang teritoryo.”
One of her most unsettling experiences involved a painting of a child that she had created.
“Kailangan kong itapon kasi tuwing dadaan ako sa kanya, kinikilabutan ako at napapalingon,” she said.
She noted that other people who have heightened sensitivity to spirits also felt uneasy whenever they saw the artwork.
Ryza Cenon plays a significant role in ‘Lilim,’ a horror-suspense film directed by Mikhail Red. The film explores the horrors of the unknown, blending elements of folklore and the supernatural.
Joining her in the cast are Eula Valdez, Heaven Peralejo, Nicole Omilio, Mon Confiado, Rafa Siguion Reyna, Skywalker David, and Gold Aceron.
