Kathryn Bernardo’s mother, Min Bernardo, has cautioned fans against believing unverified rumors about the actress, particularly those circulating on social media regarding her love life and alleged reconciliation with Daniel Padilla.
In a video shared by Long Gumatay, a long-time supporter of Kathryn and her family, Mommy Min directly addressed the ongoing speculations.
“I know them very well. Huwag kayong masyadong naniniwala sa mga fake news,” she said, responding to the latest wave of rumors surrounding Kathryn.
Her statement comes amid claims made by self-proclaimed “Pambansang Marites” Xian Gaza, who alleged in a viral Facebook post that Kathryn and Daniel had rekindled their relationship.
“That’s confirmed! Huwag n’yong matawag-tawag na fake news ‘yung sinasabi ko. Baka bigla akong mag-upload ng video dito. Baka hindi mo kayanin, mother,” Gaza wrote, insisting that several people had allegedly witnessed the two meeting in secret.
Since Kathryn and Daniel confirmed their breakup, the actress has been the subject of various dating rumors, including: That Alden Richards has stopped courting Kathryn. That Kathryn and Daniel have reconciled. That a politician is still romantically pursuing Kathryn.
While some fans initially celebrated the news of a possible KathNiel reunion, Mommy Min’s remarks served as a reminder to be critical of unverified information.
Following her message, many KathNiel supporters took to social media to express their thoughts. As rumors continue to circulate, there remains no official confirmation regarding Kathryn and Daniel’s relationship status. However, fans remain hopeful that regardless of the outcome, the two will maintain a cordial relationship.
