Actress Kim Chiu revealed that she has never experienced ghosting, sharing that all her past relationships ended with proper closure.

During the press conference for her upcoming movie, ‘My Love Will Make You Disappear,’ held on February 19, 2025, Kim was asked if she had ever been left without explanation in a relationship.
“Hindi kasi ako na-ghosting. Nagpaalam naman sila nang maayos!” she responded with a laugh.
Her co-star Wilma Doesnt, who was part of the presscon, playfully reassured her, saying, “Okay lang ‘yan, girl!” and shared that being ghosted led her to eventually find her “last love.”
Kim then emphasized that her past relationships always had closure.
“Sabi nila, ‘Kim, alis na kami! Hahaha!’” she joked.
Wilma quipped, “Buti nga sa ‘yo nagpaalam. Sa akin, the end.”
Kim reiterated, “Nagpaalam naman sila.”
Though she did not name anyone, it is widely known that Kim’s previous relationships were with actors Gerald Anderson (2006–2010) and Xian Lim (2012–2023).
Kim also shared her belief that rejection is a form of redirection, prompting a playful moment at the event.
When teased about where she might be “redirected,” she jokingly gestured as if about to point at someone but turned away at the last moment—avoiding her leading man, Paulo Avelino, who was seated beside her.

Asked why people should never give up on love, Kim first addressed a vlogger’s remark that she was already “very experienced” in relationships.
“Grabe naman yung ‘sobrang experienced na!’ Ilan lang naman dyowa ko, dalawa lang sila. Wooo! Walang comparison!” she clarified.
Kim then explained her perspective on love and relationships.
“Love is something we feel. It’s not something you can buy. No matter how hardworking or kind you are, love isn’t just given to you—you experience it.”
She also stressed how love plays a vital role in shaping emotions.
“When we love, we are happy. When we love, we feel sadness. Love teaches us different emotions that make us human.”
As for her advice to those waiting for love?
“Don’t give up on love. Don’t close your doors. Just because love isn’t here today doesn’t mean it won’t come tomorrow—or maybe, it’s just right beside you. Charot!”
At that moment, fans couldn’t help but notice that Paulo Avelino was sitting right next to her, adding excitement to the conversation.

Kim also spoke candidly about her boundaries in love, particularly when it comes to infidelity.
“Siyempre, pag niloko ka, mag-disappear ka na. Kasi, ano? Tatanga-tanga ka na lang? Di ba?” she said.
Her advice to those who have been cheated on was straightforward: “If they cheat, leave them. Prioritize yourself. Self-love first.”
Kim emphasized the importance of valuing oneself in relationships and not tolerating mistreatment.
“Sabi nga nila, kung di mo mahal ang sarili mo, hahayaan mo lang na paulit-ulit kang sinasaktan.”
The fun and meaningful conversation between Kim and Paulo at the presscon heightened excitement for their upcoming romantic drama, ‘My Love Will Make You Disappear.’
Directed by Chad Vidanes and produced by ABS-CBN Studios and Star Cinema, the film is based on a real-life heartbreak story shared by director-writer Prime Cruz’s friend during a drinking session.
With its intriguing storyline and undeniable chemistry between Kim Chiu and Paulo Avelino, fans are eagerly awaiting its release.
‘My Love Will Make You Disappear’ is set to hit cinemas nationwide on March 26, 2025.
