GMA Network dominated this year’s Platinum Stallion National Media Awards, winning a total of 20 citations, including the “TV Station of the Year” anew.
The Network’s regional arm, GMA Regional TV, was cited as “Regional TV Network of the Year” for the eighth time, while GMA’s flagship AM radio station Super Radyo DZBB was again recognized as “AM Radio Station of the Year.”
Various Kapuso programs and personalities were also recognized in the different categories.
GMA’s flagship primetime newscast “24 Oras” won “Best TV News Program of the Year.”
One of its anchors – Vicky Morales – was named “Female News Anchor of the Year,” while Atom Araullo won “Male News Anchor of the Year” for “State of the Nation.”
GMA Public Affairs programs also triumphed at the Platinum Stallion National Media Awards. “Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho,” the number one TV program of 2024, was recognized as the “Best News Magazine Program.” 
The country’s longest-running public affairs program “I-Witness” won “Best Documentary TV Show” while the public service program “Wish Ko Lang” was conferred the “Best Public Service Program” award. “Unang Hirit,” the country’s longest-running morning program, was again chosen as “Best Morning Show.”
GMA Network scored more accolades via GMA Entertainment Group’s “Pulang Araw.” Widely regarded as the most important Philippine TV series of 2024, “Pulang Araw” won “Best Primetime Drama Series” and “Socially Relevant TV Series.”
Captivating performances by Kapuso actors in “Pulang Araw” earned recognition as well. First Lady of Primetime Sanya Lopez won “Best Primetime Drama Series Actress,” Pambansang Ginoo David Licauco was named “Best Primetime Drama Series Actor,” Epy Quizon won “Best Primetime Supporting Actor,” and Rochelle Pangilinan was awarded “Best Primetime Supporting Actress.”
More Kapuso personalities and artists were also recognized in this year’s awards.
Kapuso couple Julie Anne San Jose and Rayver Cruz each won an award in their respective categories. Asia’s Limitless Star Julie was honored as “Music Artist of the Year,” while Kapuso Total Heartthrob Rayver was named “TV Actor of the Year” for “Asawa ng Asawa Ko.”
GMA Synergy sportscaster and 24 Oras Game Changer segment host Martin Javier was once again named “Best TV Sports Program Host.”
Cloud 7, P-Pop’s youngest boy group under Sparkle GMA Artist Center, likewise received a citation for “Breakthrough Boy Group of the Year.” 
The Platinum Stallion National Media Awards of the Trinity University of Asia was launched in 2015.
