GMA Network’s afternoon programming block remains a stronghold in the ratings game, according to the latest Nielsen NUTAM People survey.
On Monday, January 20, Kapuso family game show ‘Family Feud’ led the charge, securing the No. 4 spot on the overall ratings chart with 9.7%. Meanwhile, ‘Lilet Matias: Attorney At Law (LMAAL)’ dominated the afternoon drama lineup with 6.9%, landing at No. 7. The newest Kapuso drama, ‘Prinsesa ng City Jail (PNCJ),’ followed closely at No. 8 with 6.7%, while ‘Forever Young’ rounded out the Top 10 at 5.8%.
By Tuesday, January 21, ‘Family Feud’ maintained its afternoon dominance despite a slight dip to 8.8%. However, LMAAL saw a notable increase to 7.9%, along with PNCJ, which climbed to 7.2%. ‘Forever Young’ also gained traction, improving to 6.4%.
Midweek on Wednesday, January 22, ‘Family Feud’ rebounded to 9.2%, continuing its reign over the afternoon block. Meanwhile, LMAAL and PNCJ tied at No. 8 with 6.5% each. ‘Forever Young’, however, saw a slight decline, dropping to 5.7%.
On Thursday, January 23, ‘Family Feud’ dipped again to 8.8%, while LMAAL and PNCJ recorded improvements, rising to 7.6% and 7.4%, respectively. ‘Forever Young’ also saw an uptick, reaching 6.3%.
By Friday, January 24, Kapuso afternoon programs maintained their leadership in their respective timeslots, though all experienced a slight decline. ‘Family Feud’ slipped to 7.6%, while LMAAL and PNCJ fell to 7.0% and 6.5%, respectively. ‘Forever Young’ also dropped back to 5.8%.
With consistent strong performances across its afternoon lineup, GMA Network continues to solidify its dominance in daytime television.
