To celebrate its launch, Panda Express hosted an exclusive media event on February 12, 2025, at its SM Mall of Asia branch, where invited guests had the exciting opportunity to taste a new American Chinese classic, Spicy Bourbon Chicken. The event featured a live cooking demonstration and kitchen tour led by Resident Chef Israel Mata, who has been with Panda Express Philippines since it first opened in the country in 2019. Guests also explored an exclusive Spice Bowl Bar during the event, customizing their Spicy Bourbon Chicken meals with side dishes to find the perfect pairing for their spice tolerance.
