Veteran TV host Willie Revillame has announced his departure from the TV5 program ‘Wil To Win’ (WTW), with his final episode scheduled to air on February 10, 2025.
Revillame made the announcement during a recent broadcast, expressing his gratitude to viewers and teasing exciting plans for his farewell.
Revillame promised a memorable send-off for his fans, including generous giveaways during his last episode. He encouraged supporters to attend the live studio taping, which is expected to draw a full house. Attendance will be limited, and fans are advised to arrive early to secure their spots.
After Revillame’s exit, ‘Wil To Win’ will continue under the temporary hosting of his close friend and seasoned entertainer Randy Santiago. Santiago, known for his charismatic stage presence, is expected to bring his own style while maintaining the show’s commitment to entertaining and supporting its audience.
Revillame’s departure from ‘Wil To Win’ coincides with his bid for public office in the upcoming midterm elections. Running as an independent candidate, he emphasized his reliance on divine guidance and the people’s trust in determining his political fate.
“Kung anuman ang maging kapalaran ko sa eleksyon, ipinauubaya ko na lang sa Diyos,” Revillame said, adding that he hopes to continue serving the public through his platform.
Since its debut on July 15, 2024, ‘Wil To Win’ has been a key part of TV5’s ‘Hapon Champion’ lineup, replacing ‘Barangay Singko Panalo’. The show gained a loyal following for its fun format and for providing financial assistance to contestants and viewers in need.
