TV host-comedian Vice Ganda couldn’t help but gush over Alexa Ilacad’s stunning appearance during her guesting on ‘It’s Showtime’ with her on-screen partner KD Estrada on January 9.
Vice began the segment by expressing his gratitude to the KDLex tandem for their unwavering support in promoting his 2024 Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) entry, ‘And The Breadwinner Is….’
“Sumasama silang mag-promote kahit sa hindi masyadong malalapit na lugar. Maraming-maraming salamat, sincerely,” Vice said, commending the duo’s efforts.
During the exchange, Vice paused to admire Alexa’s beauty, remarking, “Extra pretty siya ‘no?” His co-hosts Anne Curtis and Kim Chiu agreed enthusiastically.
Alexa thanked Vice for the compliment and humorously replied, “Bawal kasing mabulok.”
Anne followed up with, “Ano bang nagpapa-happy sa’yo para huwag kang mabulok?”
Alexa’s candid response, “Tanggalin ang mga toxic sa buhay para maging fresh,” drew cheers and laughter from the studio audience.

Despite working on separate projects in recent months, KD Estrada and Alexa Ilacad have maintained their strong on-screen chemistry. KD’s last television project was ‘Pira-Pirasong Paraiso’, which concluded in early 2024. Alexa starred in the movie ‘Mujigae’ and took on hosting duties for ‘PBB Gen 11’. The pair also made waves onstage with their successful run in the PETA Theater musical ‘Walang Aray’.
