On December 21, Representative Sam Verzosa led a rice distribution event at San Andres Brgy 740, District 5, Manila, where he underscored his commitment to providing high-quality aid to the community.
Verzosa, nicknamed “Spam Versoza” for his viral relief efforts featuring premium items like Spam, emphasized the importance of treating beneficiaries with respect and dignity.
The multi-business mogul turned public servant shared that his background shaped his advocacy.
He added that his relief efforts would continue even after the holiday season to support more communities in need.
As the Manila mayoral race intensifies, Verzosa faces criticisms from established politicians who, he claims, feel threatened by his progressive approach.
Despite the controversies, Verzosa remains resolute. Known for his public service program ‘Dear SV’ on GMA Network and for his affiliations with Willie Revillame and actress Rhian Ramos, he addressed his critics head-on.
The representative’s dedication to public service and his ability to distribute premium relief goods have drawn both praise and scrutiny. Nevertheless, Verzosa stands firm in his mission to uplift communities and bring fresh solutions to Manila’s pressing concerns.
